Bookings are made subject to the following Terms and Conditions:  

Reservations

·      You must guarantee your reservation at the time of booking, by giving your credit card or debit card details.

·      Payment can be made at check-in by credit/debit card or cash, but no rooms will be reserved, booked or let without your full credit card details.

·      During key events and periods of high demand bookings of a minimum of two or more nights are required.

·      All reservations are subject to availability.

Arrivals and Departures

·      Payment is required on arrival, if not already paid in full at time of booking.

·      Your room will be available from 2pm on the date of arrival. Please let us know if you require to check in prior to this and we will make every effort to help. If you require early check-in but we are unable to have your room ready by this time, we will be happy to store your bags until it is ready.

·      Reception closes at 8pm. Please let us know if you are likely to arrive after this time, for us to make special arrangements for you.

·      Checkout is by 11am on the day of departure. Failure to leave your room by this time will result in additional charges up to and including the cost of one night’s accommodation.

Room Rates

·      Room prices are per room per night including VAT. We reserve the right to review our prices from time to time. If you make a reservation more than one month in advance, the quoted price may change before the date of your stay.

·      We reserve the right to charge the room price current on the arrival date, but if this has changed from the quoted price at the time of booking, you may cancel the reservation without charge or with a full refund if you have already paid.

·      Breakfast is not included in the cost of your room.

Cancellation and "No Shows"

·      If you cancel a booking before 1pm three days before you are due to check in, there will be no charge.

·      If you cancel a guaranteed room after 1pm three days before you are due to check in or if you fail to arrive, you will be charged for one night’s accommodation per room booked (two nights for minimum two night bookings) and any remaining booking will be cancelled.

·     A cancellation reference will be given and must be retained as proof of cancellation.

Smoking

·      For the comfort and safety of all our guests, smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the building.

·      In the event that a guest smokes in a room or during their stay permits others to smoke in the room, a supplementary cleaning charge of £50 will be made to the credit or debit card used to guarantee the booking.

Please Note

·      No Pets are allowed.

·      Electrical appliances such as toasters, mini cookers and portable grills etcetera may not be used in the rooms as they may set off the sensitive fire alarm system.

·      Reservations for rooms are non-transferable and must not, under any circumstances, be sold or otherwise transferred to any third party.

·      You must not advertise, market or otherwise offer any The Avala Guesthouse room for sale either on its own or as part of a combined offer, without express written consent.
